Exploring Abstract Acrylics with Jennifer Duncan

Thursdays 2-4:30 pm | 6 Weekly Classes | Online Via Zoom with one in-person critique class to be determined by group Using the paintings of master artists for reference, students will study the history and techniques used to create abstract paintings. Acrylic paints, mediums and tools will be explored through a variety of project-based lessons and demonstrations. All skill levels are welcome. Supply list will be made available for registered students. Instructor will provide Zoom link to registered students prior to each class. Any snow days will be made up at the end of the session. All levels are welcome in this supportive environment. Have your materials ready as well as your curiosity and willingness to explore! A supply list will be provided to registered students. Her classes aim to be fun, innovative, and informative, and are designed to help students discover their own creative approach to making art. Jennifer’s paintings have been included in group and solo exhibitions in the Washington Metro area and her work can be found in both national and international collections. She is a founding member of the Great Falls Artists’ Atelier, where she has had a studio since 2005, and is a member of Studio Gallery DC in Washington.
